Your trip information
Switch Forum stores the profiles, itinerary and shared costs needed to organise the trip. Signed-in attendees see published agenda details and their own travel records. Organisers can access planning information. Identity documents are encrypted and require an explicit, recently authenticated reveal.
Services we use
Vercel hosts the app. Supabase stores trip data and handles sign-in, and Resend delivers sign-in codes and enabled departure alerts. These services receive the information needed to perform those tasks.
Address searches and journey calculations send addresses and journey timing to Google Maps. Avoid entering private notes in address searches.
The optional organiser assistant sends your messages, names and agenda to OpenAI. Flights, hotels and shared costs are excluded until you select them. Known private details are removed from messages where possible; do not paste passport details, payment cards, booking references or private contacts. OpenAI’s standard policy can retain requests for abuse monitoring for up to 30 days. We do not request storage of responses, but that does not remove provider abuse-monitoring retention. History and retention
Change history records who changed each field. Private text and booking details are recorded as changed without retaining copies of their values. Trip information, profiles, identity records and shared financial records will be retained through 31 March 2027, then deleted from the live app from 1 April 2027 (Melbourne time). Encrypted recovery copies and provider backups may follow separate retention periods.
Your choices
Use Security settings to add an authenticator or revoke sessions. Contact your trip organiser to correct information, request deletion or ask about access and retention.
